NORTON DAY EVENT July 21st
The museum is proud to have one of only 100 Norton Classic production bikes ever made complete with the Classic Rotary engine. and a very early and rare 1929 Norton Model 19.
The Norton Rotary engine bike became famous in the livery of black and gold for the John Player Racing teams when Steve Spray,Trevor Nation, Ron Haslem and Robert Dunlop rode them on various circuits and at the Isle of Man TT during this era of great motorcycle development.
Both will be on display on the 21st July and visitors will be treated to the unique sound of these bikes when we start them up. Come along and enjoy the experience with us as its not every day you get the chance to see and hear these special bikes..
